the Visitors Center on FRIDAY and SATURDAY NIGHTS at 7:00 PM . This is one of our most popular winter activities, along with the Eagle Tours. On Friday nights, the Reelfoot Naturalist Staff will offer an introductory program dealing with the American Bald Eagles and Reelfoot Lake . Guest speakers are invited to talk about a variety of topics on Saturday nights.  These programs are free to all who wish to attend. We have a wide variety of excellent speakers for 2006. Please make plans to join us for these interesting and informative programs about Reelfoot Lake ’s natural wonders.

JANUARY6^th             REELFOOT LAKE SLIDE SHOW:  Join Jerry Hall, Park Interpretive Specialist at Reelfoot Lake for a look at some wonderful pictures of Reefoot.  Learn about the history of Reelfoot and the wildlife that live here.

JANUARY 13^th &14^th     BIRDS OF PREY: Reelfoot Lake State Park Staff will introduce you to the injured Raptors that call Reelfoot home.  He will shed some light on their importance to the ecology and economy of this area.

JANUARY 29th   Knox Martin, Coordinator of Raptor Rehab in Memphis. He will enlighten you on the efforts to rehabilitate and release injured Birds of Prey. You will get chance to experience a variety of non-releasable birds.
